Why didn't you get your Make a Wish? I loved mine-- went to Disneyworld and stayed with my parents and sister at Give Kids the World village when I was 11. It was incredible. I also went to Dream Street camp and Muscular Dystrophy Association camp every year until I became too fragile at 19. It was super. There aren't a whole lot of camps that accomodate kids on ventilators.
Anyway, I wish you had gotten one! Do they not extend to the U.K.?
Not that your special day doesn't sound lovely-- buy Make a Wish has tremendous resources, and can accomodate some pretty great things. It seems a shame you didn't participate. Did you go to camps for kids with asthma?
