Inauguration Day

Today, I witnessed history in the making.  President Obama, as V said, is OUR Kennedy.  He represents hope and change in a way that I never realized was possible... I cried throughout the day today and it was tears of happiness and relief and excitement.  Words do not do justice to how proud I am to be an American today.  I did not realize before ( Read more... )

I have to say, I also didn't realize how I felt about our country the past 8 years until this election. I was so numb to Bush. I didn't hate him, I didn't love him, I had just lost hope. Now I actually care what's going on in our country. It's a good feeling!

I said the same thing to John tonight. They just seem to be so in love and they are so relateable to any age person. I love them and am filled with hope.
