Kindergarden Promotes Communism

Recently I was debating narcissism vs. altruism with a friend. Along the course of the debate, said friend started on his theory of altruism being closely associated with communism. To make his point, he began to list commonly known properties of communism. Common ownership, classless, egalitarian. As he named these, an idea emerged into my  ( Read more... )

Yep, everything we need to know in life, we SHOULD have learned in kindergarten. I do believe that many of the characteristics of communism would align with kindergarten training. However, as we progress through life, we learn that kindergarten (hence communism) is simplief version of how life should be. It would require EVERYONE to be altruistic to succeed. One power hungry person thrown into the mix ruins it for everyone.

Humans are imperfect and many more are narcissistic than are altruistic. This is why communism fails everytime it is attempted.

but doesn't that mean that teaching it in Kindergarden is education children about a world that doesn't exist? Which is seemingly fruitless.

No. Those characteristics are not unique to communism. And just because the human race has not yet succeed at something does not mean that we should not keep trying. The US Armed forces fight for World Peace and the end to human oppression every day. We have not accomplished those goals and seems like we still have along way to go. So should the US Armed Forces give up on that endeavor? NO ( ... )

How true! I really believe I aspire toward both and it causes untold complexity!
