It had been a long day for both Scott and Morgan, sweeping floors and tossing any assorted pieces of junk into a dumpster outside the building. At the end of the day, they had a good portion of the floor finished, but while there was still work that could be done, it had been a long day for Scott. Morgan wiped his face with a kerchief, he was covered in sweat and grime from cleaning out the third floor of the building. He grinned.

"Not at all. A cold beer sounds brilliant right now."

"Great." Scott smiled and went to set his broom down. "I know a little place a short walk from here, called Joe's. If you like Blues, it's a great place." They'd spent more time working than talking, and Scott wasn't exactly the kind to strike up a conversation while he worked, so he didn't know it Morgan liked that kind of music.

"Sure. I've been there," he smiled. "Beer's cold and the music's great." They had mostly been working without a great deal of talk. This would give him a chance to get to know Scott better. "Did you want to clean up a bit first?"

"Great." That was a relief at least that Morgan liked the place. It was pretty close to the building so he wasn't completely surprise that Morgan had been there. "Yeah, I'd like that." He also didn't want to show up at Joe's smelling like 60 years of dirt and sweat.
