"Careful with that!" Morgan cautioned the movers. He directed them into the service lift, then went back outside to the moving van. He easily lifted a heavy box of items and carried it inside. He had closed the deal on the old warehouse yesterday. The one with the beautiful, and authentic wrought iron on the facade.
He was moving into the top floor of the six storey building, it had already been remodeled into a loft, but the rest of the building was untouched. He was planning to remodel the other floors into apartments and rent out the first floor to retail space. It would fit in with the rest of the neighborhood. The building was on the edge of a shopping district, near Joe's bar, three blocks from the marina, and part of the warehouse district. It was multi-zoned for business and living space. The previous owner had run out of money before he could finish the renovation and had let the building go back to the bank. Morgan had bought it for a song.
(ooc: for a look at the building.
