ARGH!!!! How Doctor is that, forcing Rose to leave for her own safety? If only John Smith knew how much he was like the Doctor when he was saying he wasn't who she thought he was.

And poor Rose . . . my heart just aches for her. I certainly hope Smith/the Doctor figures out that she'd be so much safer with him than without him.

Now I really can't wait for the next part!

I had to have Smith do something that was overwhelming Doctorish as his 'parting gift', because I'd spent so long hinting at stuff! Glad you're still enjoying it - even though I've made your heart ache. More coming soon! :)

That was incredible. I was completely swept up, into the world of John and Rose, the macho culture of Lerwick; poor, confused John, thinking he's doing the right thing for the right reasons, when all of it is so very, very wrong. And Rose...Hmm. I reckon she's not going too terribly far ;)

The love John and Rose feel for each other absolutely leaps off the page (er, screen), and I find myself rooting for them to find each other--really, truly, find each other--as hard as I'd ever root for people I know in real life.

*sob* only five chapters to go...This is such a brilliant story, I'll be sorry to see it end!

Oh, well, that was...

The many Doctor/John similarities that you work in so cleverly, like disliking hospitals, just kill me.

And Rose...I love that Rose would never just slink away, cradling her own hurt. I love her parting promise to him.
