New Years Resolutions

Green is yes I'm doing well
Orange is some improvement but not enough
Red is not doing

1. To get in better shape by target date 12th August

- exercise:

- cycle to work and back at least 3 times a week

- take the stairs at work and at home at all times except when carrying lots of stuff

- go for more walks

- diet

- aim to get back to 9 and a bit ( Read more... )

Ooh, you've done very well! I've not checked my nyr for a while. I know I'm drinking more water and worrying less... but other than that... You don't need to lose any weight though, you're very slim. I was fatter at uni because all I did whilst revising was eat biscuits.

It was weird - all the super healthy eating and exercise I did in Jan and Feb lost me no weight whatsoever, though it made me a bit firmer. And pigging out on chocolate and cappucino as I am now doesn't seem to put weight on much either. So I figure I must be the right weight, and just to try to be healthy generally.

Yeah, I think sometimes you find a weight and your body sticks to it - I lost half a stone when I first moved to Manchester because I walked a lot, and when I got weighed a year later I still weighed the same, so I reckon that's just what I'm going to weigh. Despite wishing I weighed another half stone less.
