Photos From Memorial Day 2010
Oceanside on Memorial Day weekend is a little bit of Beach Crazy. But it helps to live four blocks from the beach; that eliminates the driving-and-parking crazy, which is a big part of it. I saw on the news testy drivers who had searched over an hour for a spot, and finally just gave up.
Taking worthwhile photos in the midst of crowds is a skill I'm still mastering; in any event I think photos with a less frenetic vibe are more suited to my personality. The photos here are the "first cut" of those I took yesterday. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did!
