My favorite mildly NSFW (text) comic of the day, plus a funny and snarky article about Starbucks

Apr 04, 2007 09:01

I love Natalie Dee. I don't go to her site every day but usually will catch up at some point. Her comics are...different. The art looks like something a kid would draw but they are funny as hell and you're really missing out if you don't at least check out a few. This is from a few days ago but just cracks me up: ( cut for the mildly NSFW (text) )

I hate Starbucks, always have. I went there when it was local in Seattle. I just don't like burned coffee beans, I guess.

On another note, I love the Natalie Dee site! Bless your heart for sharing that !!!

Ok, now that you have picked yourself back up off the floor, yes it is me, you thought I was quite dead, I'm not. I'm just in Wichita, and I'm bored enough to start reading friends blogs again.
Could she please put down the thesaurus? Holy crap that is just written diarrhea from an English major that likes to believe anyone is a mindless drone should they like mediocre coffee. I'm sure she was quite proud of the fact that she is on the "I hate Starbucks" bandwagon. I'm hip, I'm cool, I like music you've never heard of and I hate Starbuck$.
Well, I like hockey and think it is the only sport that is worth watching. So you miss author, are an idiot because you don't like hockey!!

He lives! I was just thinking of you and Jess the other day as I had a reminder come up about either a birthday (jess) or an anniversary (Jess and her other husband). But then I was confused as to which it was. So if it was Jess', tell her happy birthday and if it's the anniversary, well happy anniversary to her and her hubby ;)

And the Starbuck$ article is by a dooood. Cause it's soooo cool in SF to hate Starbucks. Get over yourself, Mr. Morford!
