When Jessica and I went to DC in August of '03, we took photos of all the state signs that we passed (and a district sign).

last time I went that way, we completely missed West Virginia (there was construction at Pittsburgh). not often that you miss an entire state.

Well, going to Pennslyvania through WV takes you through that skinny upper "arm" of WV. It's only 15 miles wide, so when you're on a day-long road trip, that hardly anything.

Except for MD and DC, Justin and I drove through all that stuff on the way to New York two summers ago. It seemed like it took an entire day to drive through Pennsylvania.

It's been less so had you been going from New York state to MD.

That's some hilly country.. and did you mean "It would have been less so..?"

I mean it wouldn't have seem like it took an entire day because you drove across Pennsylvania the long way. Had you crossed it north-to-south, it'd been a much shorter trip.
