This week was draaaaaaaging by. I was so ready to get off the set by the time Friday rolled around that when I was finally given permission to leave, I bolted off the set in my London clothes and drove home as fast as I could. Joe and I had made plans to go away for the weekend. Where we were going, I had no idea. I figured I'd just leave it up to Joe since he was the one that wanted to go on this little adventure. I was more excited that we were going to get to go on his motorcycle. We didn't go on it much, even though I loved it, so it was kinda exciting that he was going to take me on it again. I rushed upstairs when I got home and told Joe I would be ready in a few minutes. I put my hair into a normal ponytail, put on normal makeup and then changed into some jeans and a pink tank top. I put on those ugly leather boots that Joe made me wear when we rode on the bike before grabbing my backback. He only let me pack for three days! That was so stressful, especially since I had no idea where we were going or what we were doing since we ( ... )

After the dress got bagged up, we continued shopping at other stores and Joe bought me shoes and jewelry to go along with it. I was going to have to give him a big thank you later when we decided where we were going to stay. "By the way, where are we going to sleep tonight?" Joe said he wasn't sure and asked the store clerk of he knew of any place around here that was nice. I quit paying attention after that when I saw a purse that I really liked but Joe called me back and told me around a ranch that was here in town. We asked a few more people about it and they all said it was nice and I really wanted to see it. Joe asked me if I wanted to go check it out as we walked back to the bike and I nodded. "Yeah it sounds pretty awesome sweetie. I hope they have something there." Joe called ahead and luckily, they had a room left for the weekend. "You've got some pretty good luck today baby," I smiled at him as he started the bike. We arrived a little bit later and I smiled and walked around looking at everything while Joe checked us in. We ( ... )

We made it to the beach just in time to catch the sunset. I focused on the beauty of the sky changing colors to try and calm down. I held onto Brenda's hand a little tighter than usual in my anxiousness. I was too engrossed in trying not to break out into a cold sweat that I didn't even notice Brenda speaking to me. I guess in the back of my mind I heard her voice, but her words weren't registering. Her shouting my name caught my attention though and I crashed back into the present. She asked if I was even listening to her and I knew I had been caught. I shook my head to clear my thoughts and try and come up with something she would be talking about. "Ohhh, you were just talking about how pretty the sunset was and how much you love the beach," I tried. She gave me a look which let me know I was way off base, but thankfully she just let it go. She decided to go to the shoreline and that was fine because I could just follow her after a moment or two, but I became distressed when I saw her playing with a crab. Normally I would think this ( ... )

I let go of her other hand and dropped to one knee. I looked up at her shy and hopeful before I looked down again so that I could unzip the pocket zippers and get the ring out. I had a little difficulty there, but I thought I recovered well until I accidentally opened the box upside down and the ring fell on the sand. "Oh my God," I said under my breath in exasperation. I couldn't believe myself right now. This was exactly what I was afraid of! I wasn't really worried about her saying no, although that was in the very deep back of my mind. I was more worried about doing something stupid like this and having her laugh or be unimpressed and ruining everything. I rolled my eyes at myself thinking that I was just so stupid, but I wasn't about to give up now. The cat was out of the bag already, and I just had to keep on going. Isn't that what I always did when I had these mishaps? They happened often enough where you'd think I would be used to it by now. I dropped the box thinking oh what the hell and picked up the ring and blew the sand ( ... )
