So I'm doing Fiddler this summer at an outdoor community theatre. All I can say is who knew there was a way to cast it weirder than the last b'way revival. Jaime Cohen is playing a Russian and Tzeitel and Chava are being played by girls named Tia and Mary respectively. Oh, and Mary has a crucafix on her belly button ring

Is the Tevye Jewish, at least?

Not sure......but we did the whole opening and "Tradition" and he at least sounds more Jewish than Alfred Molina. And he looks the part, so it's fine.
