I am, apparently, hideously and irredeemably primitive - I roll over, tell my husband that I love him, and look out the window to check the weather.....
I am not that nice first thing in the morning. More often the first thing I say is to whine to get him to turn the alarm off! :)
Looking at the phone for weather is a combination of needing to get my brain to start focusing and because I want to know what's going to happen later in the day, as well as the exact temp. Not like I can't just tell it's cold, since the bedroom is probably freezing, again! I love my old house except for it's lack of insulation!
