I totally forgot - my 'Heat' magazine moment!

So there we were in the arrivals hall at JFK two weeks ago. It was really crowded because several flights had come in at once. I did what I always do - headed for the American queue because it's so fast. They usually let me get away with it as Daisy, who travels on a British passport, is my child and we're travelling together. So I'm heading past ( Read more... )

funnily enough, just before we got on the plane in london I was thinking "everyone always seems to see famous people in airports and on planes. I never see famous people in airports or planes."

Well, I saw a short-arse Australian soap star once. But he'd been off the show for about ten years at that point and didn't really count as a sleb anymore.

How cool is that? He was such a bastard in "Titanic." I'm glad IRL he came off much better -- and he got you through the line quicker to boot. Daisy will remember that moment the rest of her life. Coolness!

I still have never seen a sleb in an aiport. I'm such a loser! LOL

He was a nice bloke - not at all arrogant, and as Daisy has said several times, "THEY talked to US!" She's told everyone. it was the first thing she said to Vince when he rang us in America.

Eye colour looked pretty dark, munky, but that might have had something to do with his impossibly thick, dark lashes...
