Oh darling, I am so sorry. I am glad you were able to be with her at the end, but a loss of this sort is always a blow.

You have been in my thoughts since Joal told us what had happened.

*hugs* I know it was hard. Glad you and Daisy got to have some time with her.

I know about the "waited for us". I know my dad waited until everyone he loved was at the hospital (his brothers, sister, mother, us, his best friend/fellow drill sgt) before he left.

I'm sure she did wait for you, and I'm very glad that you had some time with her. I know it's hard for you now, darling- I've been thinking about you a lot, and I hope your grieving won't be too hard, even if it must be hard befor eit gets easier.

That any of us should be able to make an end like that - we would consider ourselves fortunate wouldn't we? I'm glad that she was peaceful. Love to you and Daisy. It must be hard to come home after such a bittersweet time. Be proud of yourself for all you did in the days before and after.
