It has come to my attention that my game developed the Maxis Social “Super Duper Hug” from a badly made extended family mod found on MATY. This action has been uploaded invisibly in some of my lots. I am currently taking down all my links here and on MTS until I have cleaned my game of this annoying action. This may take me quite awhile to clean

I've downloaded some of your lots before, but all of the CC-free ones, so I didn't see anything strange hiding in there. :-P

I loaded up a lot, and had a wife click on her husband to see if I see any "super duper hug" and nothing looked like it? I also had a sibling click on another, and I saw nothing yet.
I actually don't remember if I have any mods that fix it... Because I've never heard of it... :S

This is why it's so tricky. It seems to only be showing in two peoples games who have no cc. I think most people have at least one mod that kills it.
Dolphins control this sim, deadly neck bite and Boiling Oils no sim loaded all kill it and there are probably others that will fix it. I never thought I would see this darn thing again as I have all of 3 of those mods, but it showed up when I pulled my download folder. I think it was the extended family hack which reactivated it. Esme has been testing my social hacks for the last two weeks and pin pointed that as the cause.
I believe if you get it from a lot it only shows on the lot. If you get it from pulling a social hack like I did it shows up everywhere.

Yeah, that's a bad hack, but I don't have the extended family hack (or any vampire hacks whatsoever) so I should be good. (Is this a hack for second cousins or for larger families? It seems useful, I'm gonna have second cousins out the wazoo soonish... assuming it's not borked.)
Okay, this is why puting in "control this sim" and subsequently removing it works:
"Update 2006-03-23: Fixed a problem with the fallback GUID. This problem would cause an instance of the Maxis Social Download Test example to replace my plugin in the event you uninstall this hack's package file. Unfortunately, this caused undesirable behaviour: A couple debug menu options appeared, including one about a "super duper hug". Sims would also autonomously do the "super duper hug" thing. The latest version of this hack doesn't have this problem, ( ... )
