Another attempt at chapter 21

Jan 08, 2013 11:23

In an attempt to find a host that does not distort my pictures and text I am trying docstoc. I still can't seem to embed it here but I think it looks clearer than the one on slide share.

This is both scroll down as well as click over, just the arrow is at ( Read more... )

The pictures look okay, but navigating through was kind of awkward. Some of the slides fit on my screen correctly, and some of them I had to scroll down for. Because of the gap between your text box and your picture (which is just fine, BTW), there were some slides that looked like there was no text. I only knew that there should be because I remembered reading the other version.

Does that help at all?

Yes it does, thank you Esme.

When I looked, each page had its own text, so that might change given different monitor size. I also found it to be an awkward site. It did load fast and looks a lot sharper then SS right now though. Ugg why do they keep doing this to us?! I might just load to both places unless I can find something better. I really wish Author Stream would accept PDF's.

Looked kinda small, too. (Though I probably just couldn't locate the full-screen button.)

Right next to the orange 'Download' button Scribbles.

I'm a fool. (I also locked myself out of my room today - sleep deprivation, yeah. That's what I'll try to blame it on anyway.)

Hmm, I think there might be something wrong with the application. I tried full screen and "fit page" because (like Esme), the slide was cut off at the bottom, but it "fits" only for a second before it reverts to full size again (with the bottom cut off). *scratch head*

I'm wondering if it's monitor size as It fits on mine, one full slide with a slither of the next one showing below. These places are so annoying.

I did have some issues with having to grab the screen and adjust a bit, but I didn't mind that so much. The pictures looked really good and I like the text boxes and thought and speech bubbles.
Sorry it took me so long to read. I must try to get to LJ more often. I totally missed this until you reminded me.
So, do these gangsters all live in the southern hemisphere? Swimming and wearing shorts on Christmas ! LOL
I am glad you went around the dinner table and reintroduced everyone. So many Mobacy's. It's a wonder you keep them all straight :P
I loved the photo album at the end too. So much cuteness!

It would be interesting to know everyone monitor sizes. You obviously didn't have the same problem Esme and Ning had.
The only thing which would keep me uploading there is the picture quality which is what I expect from bitmap pictures.

Of course, they all live in Australia, down south somewhere >shifty< So you can sleep well at night.

I did purposely introduce nearly every Mobacy at some point as a refresher. I couldn't bring in Ashley as he is of course 'dead'. So it was a kind of a recap with a few pointers to future plot mixed in with some family fuzziness. :)

I don't! I use a Word document to keep them straight! I'm having a hard time remembering which twin is which especially.

Thanks for reading Holley. :)

After playing around with it a bit, I got it to work perfectly with my monitor (19") by selecting full screen, then shrinking it down with one click of the "-" (de)magnifying glass. Picture and text quality looks good!
