Aw! That is so sweet it made me choke up a bit. *is a sucker for that kind of thing* The dinosaur/dragon Timmy is awesome. And Albus is so right, dinosaurs are cooler. They may, however, be the same creatures as dragons, after all. ;)

I love the child's perspective and voice in this. It's all so right. I love the spaces, too, the things left unsaid. And the descriptions of the weather and leaves and things. And Timmy, of course!

I love how you wrote this from very young Al's POV. It makes everything feel joyous, new and bright. You have given us so much description, yet very little real information. Just enough to whet our appetites and spin out lots of stories of our own to fill in the blanks. Even seeing the relationship through the eyes of a child, it allows us to see that it is good because the children are comfortable, satisfied, and happy.
