omg i loved the final i cried so much when she found out it was her dad and that gene was the one who came to her rescue i so want them to get together in the next serid there is rumours that they will make a third but i dont know what they will do?

Philip Glenister has said that he probably wouldn't do a third series of ashes so i think it's unlikely that it will happen. i reckon that if the writers are going to make anything happen between Gene and Alex it will be in the next series or not at all ^_^ i really hope something does happen though!

I thought he said he would do a third 'series' not a third of this one.

I would have thought that given the bbc have the option of a third they will have all been signed for three to begin with. thats how they usually do it.

I still think they changed it, I think thrre was at least a kiss and they took it out.

why promote it in the 'previouslys' so much and why have Gene in her bed.

Also I dont know about you but PG looks different in the date scene, he looks as if he is unwell. He doesnt look like he usually does.

it wouldn't surprise me if they did change it. from the BBC website and all the emphasis on gene fancying alex in the 'previously's it is very clear that the writers want there to be an attraction so i don't see why they wouldn't address it more in the next season.

i also thought PG looked a bit odd in the date scene but i just assumed it was because gene was trying to be pleasant! lol
watching it again now he does look a bit knackered...

the video is ok, i just finished it but i got a bit lazy towards the end - i also have more footage of alex than gene which is not what i intended! lol

Oh I loved this so much, I hope there will be some resolution to the ship in the next series but I'm not holding my breath.

I think there was some kind of kiss in the finale, and I think they took it out when they got picked up for a second.

I strongly believe in using contemporary music for vids, and this worked a treat. Lovely job - I love all the clown bits being one place too... (if I had my way, I probably force someone to do the entire Bucks Fizz bac catalogue!!!)
