Ha! My new S&M wigs just came in. The quality is top-notch. They do not shed and are fluffy and thick... but the thickness kinda became a problem for me. I wanted short crops, like those you see in mangas. So I tried cutting the Charcoal Grey which is meant for Mitsui and it turns out not quite what I expected.

It's so sad about Genji :( But this happens all the time! If there is a doll you desperately look for, it definitely will show up when all money is gone. The same with my Grail-Dolls (I'm looking for Neon and SDC Ryu for such a long time and they always appear at Yahoo Auctions when I'm broke) and it was the same with my Williams in December.
But I don't think I would wait for a re-release... Volks had only once re-released a historical character, Souji Okita. And I think maybe this was only to make him a better match to Hijikata with new body and design. All other dolls which are based on real historical character have never been re-released yet.
I don't want to cause you any finacial troubles, but I wouldn't want to miss him. Have you asked Feipei if she would accept layaway?

I dun wana do layaway. Just that it seems that I have wayyy overspent in the past 6 mths. And there are still a few more dolpas coming this year! What if they release another SD17 that I like?

There were also Amakusa, Hijikata and Ushiwakamaru.
I really understand your thoughts about spending so much money again and it's not sure if there will come more new great releases the next Dolpas. The last Dolpas are more girl themed, so I'm sure they will come up with new boys before the end of this year.
But it's always dangerous when Volks announces a new Dolpa... I pray they would give us all some time to relax our wallets!

Ahhhhhhhh! I'm waiting to collect my wigs this weekend. They look so fluffy. Fluffy furwiggehs! The style is cool on Mitsui, too. Mine are in frosted blond. Wonder if they'll look as good?

... You don't have to get the Volks dress on my behalf if you're already strapped for cash then? Unless I were to pay you up front...?

I bought frosted blonde too! Apparently, its not as thick as the charcoal grey one.

Dun worry about it. Its not so much the cash part. Its more of a matter of spending more than I should. I will still get the dress for you if I catch it in Volks Seoul. XD
