Ok my friends, a little market research here. I'm working on the ending of the third Elza book and I could use a thought or two. So

if you like Elza, what is it that you like about her?

Her gender crossing/play, and how when she takes on a role (whether Charles, a spy, a seer, whatever) she really takes it on, are fascinating to me.

I like that she is not a Good Person--she is a person with flaws who tries her best (but still left her kids behind, puts her own skin above not spying on her friends, etc.).

Also, we apparently have quite similar kinks. So that helps.

Her ability to adapt to different situations and will to survive, as well as the way she has many friends, but at the same time maintains her independence.

Her daring courage and her unconditional and entire passion for Michel. I like the bald way she chases him under the most difficult circumstances and how they everytime meet and love each other with ardour.
