It's not a particular question, but this is part of what I love about this book series - the fiction is so completely interwoven with existing history that it's almost seamless. While reading, you forget that your fictional characters don't really exist. Which is, in my opinion, the mark of a very good historical fiction series. :)

Speaking of the discovery of the Soma, was it here you posted the article link? I'd love to show my girlies. I think they would find it fascinating.

Thank you so much! We've worked really hard to make the fictional characters plausible. I think people very like them did exist.

Unfortunately it seems as if that report was fake. I can't find the archaeoforum where I first read the refutal, and googling only gets me this from the Cairo post. (It would have been an awesome find, though)
