A new cafe was opened in the neighbourhood - Struik. Went to check it out last night. What is most cool about this place is it's unusual decor. One wall in the back is a brick wall, completely covered with graffiti. The owners of Struik plan to have the graffiti changed every three months and have a list of artists waiting to work on it. Sounds cool.
I never thought the blessed smoking-ban trend would reach Europe within the decade. It's one of the weirdest things for non-europeans to deal with once we're there: how it's totally acceptable (as in, not rude) to smoke in closed spaces. The first time my study-abroad group saw someone do that, our professor, we were so shocked. hehehehe
Let me know how things change when the ban takes effect.

It's supposed to take effect as of June, but they already postponed the entry date once (previously it was meant to enter into force in January), thus I wouldn't be surprised if it happened again. :(
