I can't say I enjoyed my last couple of attempts at D3.
If everyone was getting into the same game, I'd consider it though.

Well the AI is crap. It uses the harder difficulty = more AI cheating method, but the AI itself doesn't gert any better. As such it makes crap decisions that, once you understand them, makes it fairly easy to outmaneuver.

Also, the graphics are a decade old. No question this isn't up to AAA game standards in 2010.

All that said, everything I've heard suggests that its a fabulous multi-player game. The low system requirements means anyone can play it, and there's a lot of depth to be had in the game.

Multiplayer may be the answer for you.
