You know, I'm kinda glad she is seeing someone else. In RL, when you are doing the UST thing, you're whole life doesn't stop. People try to move with varying amounts of success. Are the substitute r'ships exactly just as good? Hell no. But in general people don't tolerate outright despair for so long. Just as Spock is trying to make it work with T'Pring, it seems logical that Nyota is trying to have a life of her own too. Of course, I totally want them to get together, but seeing other people is really facilitating their personal growth. I like what you are doing here. It's grown up.
