Ooh, Remus at the party. This should prove interesting! :) I really like the way you write this story and the parallels (and indeed foreshadowing) of R/T in Ethan and Beatrice, though hopefully their ending will be happier... Oh and I hope you had a lovely birthday. :)

Thanks. I'm having fun working up the R/T and Ethan/Beatrice parallels, and I'm having fun expanding the Potterverse with new characters and locations.

Oh, I'm so glad Tonks is taking Remus to the party, after all. I do love how feisty she is, and how determined to make The Werewolf Thing work not just for herself, but for others, as well. Only why do I get the feeling things aren't going to turn out very well for Ethan and Beatrice, and that'll play into Remus' reasons for ending it with Tonks?

I have been shamefully behind with this, but it did mean that I got to read the last two chapters in one go to catch up and, therefore, had twice as much enjoyment

I'm glad you had fun with both chapters. I did love writing Lucius, and I fully intend to do more with him before the story is over. And it's been great exploring the mother/daughter relationship; female-female friendships and relationships were sorely under-represented in Potter canon, so I'm more than happy to fill in the gaps. :)

I'm glad to hear you're enjoying it so much. I do have a lot of plot threads to tie together, which is hard work, but its also lots of fun.
