I am enjoying your story very much, particularly the "something is rotten in Denmark" look at the Ministry. The interaction between Tonks & Andromeda is also very believable, and I must say that I hop Andromeda hexes Malfoy into oblivion.

The new summary is nice -- I like the parallel structure in the first three sentences. Very catchy!

This is such a great chapter; I really enjoyed reading it again. Your Lucius gives me chills...ugh. I really love the make-up scene in Diagon Alley, especially the way Remus changes from apprehensive to flirty once he sees that things are okay. “Almost,” he said with a twinkle in his eye. “But I still have a few lingering insecurities.” Hee! And the little family moment right before the Tonkses leave for the Malfoys' party is lovely, too. You do a great job making Andromeda sympathetic despite her fussiness and her tendency to emphasize appearances.

I think this chapter would have been worth reading JUST for Remus' reaction to her toilette... But there is so much more!

... and I'm also a little sadistically in love with your Lucius-Tonks dynamic. Complete with the sexual desire on his part, the want to lure her to the dark side - and the comparison to Bellatrix. Especially since in a very small, sub-conscious way, I think she is sharing some traits with her aunt.

And oy, three years. And directly from Fudge... ARGH! Yes, bribery... at high levels. I'll be interested to see where you take that!

I did have lots of fun writing Lucius. He's a great villain, and I plan on using him again in the future. And I'm glad the mysteries are keeping you engrossed. This is by far the most complex plot I've written, so it's nice to hear that people are enjoying it.
