Was not expecting the chapter to end that way! Does that mean things will be relatively angst-free the final three chapters? Although that wouldn't be nearly as fun : ).

I don't know if I'd have forgiven Jerry, but Leslie is a better person than I. Loved getting to meet Dr. Richard Nygard.

This is intense and so good and skjefsdkaaah! I loved Leslie's therapy session with Dr. Richard Nygard, and her and Ann reconnecting. Great chapter.

Wow. I admit, after your last chapter, I couldn't stop thinking about how on earth to handle a Leslie Knope who'd been through something like this AND lost Ben in the process. It really frustrated me because I couldn't think of how to strike the right balance between the shitty things that happened and Leslie's nature to move on with life full-speed. This chapter felt really right, though, like holy hell I'm impressed?? This entire fic has been so amazing, but you managed to take Leslie to hell and back and she's still ringing true to character, she's still Leslie even though this has changed her a little. I was reading this on the subway and it was very hard not to get too emotional, haha. But her seeking out his mother really broke me, that was just a really lovely way to have Leslie deal with things. And it also felt really good to see Ben get better, and see how much he appreciates Chris. I WAS WITHHOLDING TEARS ALL AROUND. And that ending, wow. That was a huge shock. gdjkrghsldfjghfd
