So, those who know me, and many of you who don't, know that I am a Cat Person (tm). While there are dogs I tolerate, in general they make me want to climb up to high places and hiss; especially those of the small yappy variety

Dogs that size are really an exotic breed of cat.

I've met several chihuahuas and a pomeranian, all of which were hyper and yippy and made my hair stand on end. I've heard many dogs described as being more catlike than not, but this was the first one I've met that actually lived up to that description.

Actually I completely agree with you on the small yippy dog thing. Now I'll be inpressed if you have a harpes sized dog on you lap (or even snuggled up to you).

Chihuahas and poms are often badly bred, encouraging that sort of behavior. I used to think I hated small dogs too, until I met some well-bred ones.

I love pugs. I want to have one when we have a yard.
