All these comps are turning me into such a prissy little bitch. I walk into my complimentary 35th-floor suite and my first reaction is LOL only a 32" CRT. heh. I'll be in las vegas this upcoming week for a conference. In, I assume, a cheap-ass hotel room. No comps for me ;-)

Do you have to stay at the host hotel of the conference, or is your employer just putting you up in a cheapass room somewhere else? I might be able to hook you up if you wanna stay somewhere else :)

Either way, if you want to get dinner sometime, I've got plenty of comps to burn. The Thai restaurant at Aria is (IMHO) good, or there are lots of steak options.

You know that Thai place we went too, in a strip mall? Not the usual WSOP destination one- the new one we tried. I think it got featured on Food Network last week.

Yeah, I should hope it's not the one across the street and down from the Palms a bit, next to the head/cigar shop, because that place is not that good.

I'm not sure if it's the same incident, but a bunch of quizbowlers from UChicago supposedly got themselves in trouble by joking a bit too loudly whether something was Ethiopian food or Eritrean food. Eventually, the restaurant told them "There is no more food. We cannot serve you."

No idea whether they made the obvious followup as a parting shot.

The cover of mine (hardback, thank you 75% Off Books!) is quite a bit better, though looks a lot like one of the other books that comes up if you search "Eritrea" on Amazon.
