Having finished another verse and chorus of the vid, putting me at 1:47 and 14 frames, or, more than halfway done, I have decided to take a break to poke livejournal with this question.
Have the requisite comparisons been made between the Ascended plane in SG1 and the Q continuum in Star Trek? SG1 Threads vs ST:VOY Death Wish comes to mind, for metaphorical settings of bizarre boring, but it also occurs to me that while the Ascended would never put up with Q as we know him for any length of time, both them and the Q race do like to kick people out in the nude--ST:TNG Deja Q, SG1 Fallen.
In other news: Toby hairballed on the couch and as niqaeli is at dumb driver school I called traykor and davetheinverted (who are on a road trip to con) to ask a) what should I do for the couch and b) where are Toby's pills. Toby was a good boy about getting pilled. But his mess was fairly nauseating to clean up. Meanwhile, Miles the kitten hit the off-switch on my surge protector and killed my computer: all my data was saved because taking a break, but I am not best pleased. Kitten is back in his room for a couple of hours. Why do I love cats again?
