Short entry today, my homies are here at our apartment, we are having a surprise birthday for our old friend Vincent. I'm so grateful to have kept some of my old high school friends, Vincent for one, Daiana, and Juan. Unfortunately some of my best friends in high school I never kept in touch with because of drama, but at least I'm one of the lucky ( Read more... )

Homeworked til I dropped.
I dropped out of high school two months into my Junior year and went to community college. No one from my high school period was really worth keeping contact with.

Ugh homework...I'm so glad I decided to not continue with school, besides everything I want to do is unconventional and doesn't involve things I can learn from school, but it's amazing to me when other people can push through it!! My friend is finishing her masters and she has so much drive cause she hasn't taken a break, she went from bachelors to masters.

Well, if you ever decide to go, plenty places will take ya time/money/life/printer ink :)

This is my third Bachelors, having worked on a double before. I think it will be worth it. I gotta keep that in mind!

I took a break between these two though, and worked! I appreciate that time off.

Your third bachelors! Wow your like a super-person, I might go back to take writing classes or photography courses. But what I want to do is write, and open an etsy for my crocheting, and to travel :) and take photos of everywhere I go. Basically a hippie lol

I still keep in touch with a few of high school friends, but none of us are local. One lives in NY and the other in Massechusetts. I caught up with a few others on FB, but you know the way FB is.

My weekend was so-so.

Wow that's amazing they were able to move away, I wish I could get out of the town I grew up in. I want to see what the rest of the world has to offer. I don't have a facebook, I just don't see the point and I would probably get bored from it and I'm not looking to reconnect I love the friends I have and I love making new friends. Aww nothing fun?

I love over 1000 miles away from where I grew up as well.

As time passes, opportunities may take them elsewhere. A lot of people left home when they went away to school. Other folks, like me, left much later.

Facebook can be addicting, but I hate the format.

That's awesome to me, I've lived in one place for so long I'm itching to get out and explore. I liked myspace better back in the day when it was popular, I just never liked facebook.
