I hate Comcast.

There was nothing noticeably wrong with my old modem. But no, it had to be replaced because it wasn't up to their new speed. Except half the time the signal is now slow.

I'm not impressed.

I'm a captive audience and I hate it.

When we had Comcast, the speed was NEVER up to par, even when we paid extra for "more." I have a lot of issues with Verizon, but internet speed isn't one of them.

I used to have Verizon wireless broadband. It was fine but expensive for not being something I could use with all of my devices, just laptop. My building is all Comcast. In theory someday FiOS will be available...but I'm not holding my breath.
