~  Now that everyone who feels romantic and nostalgic about having a white Christmas has been satisfied, it's time for the precipitation (snow, sleet, whatever) to stop.  I need to drive tonight and would rather the roads not be like an ice rink ( Read more... )

We've had ice and thunder all morning. Fun? The boys and I are about to go out (to see The Hobbit) so I hope the roads aren't too slick. I'm glad it didn't do this yesterday, though, b/c I hate driving up the mountain in ice.

I am glad for your lovely holiday!

How was your holiday?

I'm sure the boys will enjoy The Hobbit. It's visually engrossing and has lots of action...I just felt like some of the action scenes could've been trimmed.

I hate driving in ice generally. Nothing is really sticking but it's slippery out and traffic is bad. And since I'm a skittish driver in bad weather, it's better to just stay home. We had dinner plans, depending on when H&A get back from Mom's but they may be changed.

Our holiday was exhausting, lol. I fell asleep at like 8 last night on the couch, then moved to my bed about 5am and slept until after noon. :P

They've been waiting to see it, so I'm sure they will.

What I hate most about driving in winter weather is other drivers. I think we're ordering in pizza after the movie. Tired of Christmas leftovers already! Lol.
