+  Argo was pretty good.  Ben Affleck as director/producer is so much better than Ben Affleck as actor, although he's getting better at that too as he ages.  I find him (and his BFF, Matt Damon) much more attractive as they age than I ever did when they first became big, no matter how much I liked the story of Good Will Hunting way back when.

Your GK baseball AU is my happy place right now, lol.

I don't like banana pudding (I don't like bananas) but it's a family favorite, so every holiday my other mom makes me my own bowl of vanilla pudding and vanilla wafers. :)

I need to go through our coat closet - the boys always end up getting several jackets and coats each year so I need to pull out the too-small ones to give to the rescue mission.

I'm glad the Tigers beat the Yankees, but SO SAD the Cardinals didn't make it. (My mom is originally from the St Louis area, so being a fan of the Cardinals is kinda a thing.)

Have I sent you all the random BB-AU thoughts that I've inflicted on H? About Ray's at bat music, Granny Arlene's behavior when she attends the series in KC, etc.?

I like EXTREMELY firm, just barely ripe bananas so banana pudding has never been a favorite. But Whole Paycheck's version has a LOT of whipped cream, dried & salted banana chips, lady fingers, and what tastes like scratch banana pudding. But vanilla pudding and vanilla wafers all by themselves sound good to me, too :)

Brad thinks Ray is crazy for buying that fixer-upper on the edge of Montrose: for the same price he could've gotten a much bigger house in Sugarland, one that needs a lot less work. But Ray babbles on about renovation, appreciation, homeowner tax credits and the like. Which, okay, Brad knows Ray's not dumb despite the bullshit he spews as distraction, but he hadn't expected that level of thoughtfulness. It's just a house for during the season, and who knows how long anyone's baseball career might last ( ... )
