+ Bought two Kindle books by Georgette Heyer. Probably wouldn't have but for the anniversary sale ($1.99 each!). Otherwise, I can respect her place in the development of the modern genre romance, but have not been impressed by the books I've read. Completely agree re: Heyer, Trad Regencies in general and Carla Kelly being the exception (I would also consider some Baloghs exceptions). The almost-universal Heyer love leaves me baffled.

Oh, I'd forgotten about Balogh's early trads. They were pretty hit or miss for me, but they stand out from other "standard" trads for their plots.

Cobra likes Bieber for some reason. And the tour's already sold out. Cobra fans aren't happy.

That seems like poor planning. I thought Cobra had a good fan base in South America. Why would they want to irritate fans that way?

They do have a good fan base there, and I think that they might have missed SA on their last tour or maybe cancelled some shows b/c of Gabe's voice or something. Either way, I think a lot of the Cobra fans aren't happy about it. I'm very curious to see what the album sounds like next week.

I liked one of the songs that was released, although I'm blanking on the name, so I'm hoping the rest of the album is as like-able :)
