I’ve heard such good things about it. And the premise seemed interesting, a meta-romance, I think it's called, with the narrator entering the world of romance reading and writing. damn, isn't that book OLD? If it's the one I'm thinking of, I read it before I officially read romances and did not get the book at all. Must be physically perfect male specimen but okay, maybe it's fine if you're not. Or something.

That Keishon blog entry was great. I think I'm guilty of every damn thing she listed, but I loved that thing.

The version in my posession was reprinted in 2003, but the original copyright is 1989.

Whatcha writing? Hmmm?

Is this the one with the cartoonist named Gus that had cancer? I never read it, but it was made into a movie with Steve Guttenberg and Me" but more recently I've seen it as "The Boyfriend School." I used to love it in HS. devon

I apologize. I somehow lost part of the comment. The movie also had Jami Gertz and Shelley Long. It was originally called "Don't Tell Her it's Me." Devon
