INTPs in hiding?

As a member of INTP and INTJ communities, I find it interesting that (on LJ at least) posts are far more frequent on the INTJ communities. There was a post like this a while ago http://community.livejournal.com/jmbt_intp/125834.html One thing that stuck from that discussion is "the process substitutes the act." I think about how I would respond, craft the reply and then not bother posting it as there doesn't seem much point now that I've 'processed' it in my head.

LOL! I do that in my own journal. I write a dozen posts that I never end up actually posting. Once I'm done, I flip between tabs in my firefox, and rediscover the post a few days later, realizing I just never submitted it. LOL! Kills me everytime. = )

This, exactly. I also do it on my own journal.

That and I keep forgetting the community even exists.

Bahahah! Yes, the INTP community is entirely too quiet. We're just too in our own heads... my guess. : )

LOL. I've actually made a few icons for INTPs and I've been meaning to post them to the community. I just somehow can't get round to it.

Thanks to you all for taking the time to reply (especially since it appears to be alien to the INTP nature!) As always, your comments are very interesting to read and tend to create a 'light bulb' moment for me.
