Florida Here I Come

Work is sending me to a conference in Orlando Florida from Sunday, Aug 6th, 2006 through Wednesday, August 9th for Apco Conference whatever that is.

Such short notice; makes me a bit apprehensive.  Plus I'm guessing its un-fucking-believably hot.

Anyone got any recommendations of things to see/do there?  It'll all be after hours I assume.  I'm not

I'm not even sure what I would have time to do. I assume that show will run til 5pm at the earliest. :S

oh man until 5pm? you're screwed. the whole city shuts down at 5:15! okay no treally.

there is a lot to do in orlando after 5 pm

so what would you want to do?

do you like roller coasters? clubs/bars? shopping? being a tourist?

universal studios is open until 9pm
islands of adventure (roller coasters) is the same
disney is open until 10
so is magic kingdom
universal citywalk is open until 2 am

orlando literally has everything and anything you could want to do. you could even skydive indoors until 11pm (i'm not joking: http://www.skyventureorlando.com/)

there are also tons of places to hang out that aren't so touristy. really neat bars. awesome restaurants. fun shops. lots of strip clubs.

I spent a week in Orlando one day. It's "cheesy touristy". Clark Griswold took his family there once.
I do remember a lot of really drunk fat chicks tho, so that might be interesting.
