Chapter 10

Richard came awake with a pleasing warmth tingling his skin.  It washed over him, lulling him to a place of peace and contentment.  He moved a little, trying to orient himself.  “Be still, my love,” he heard Kahlan whisper and she pressed a gentle kiss to his brow.  He couldn’t move even if he wanted to, his body hurt everywhere.

Kahlan leaving her favorite flowers for Ethan was just so sweet and I loved that Richard knew right away that Kahlan had been there and done it.

I'm just so excited they are finally going to get to heal and TALK TO EACH OTHER!!
