That really is funny. Reminds me of the Twilight Zone episode (90s version) with Elliot Gould playing a meanspirited food critic who dies in a Chinese restaurant he panned in the paper just after reading a fortune that fortells that he will die soon.

Just not as macabre.

I haven't seen that one, but it certainly sounds very Twilight Zoney. Though that punishment seems a bit harsh just for panning a restaurant.
