It's nominated for Visual Effects, which is fair (considering the kind of film it is). Though I think both The Hobbit and the Avengers blow it out of the water. Possibly Life of Pi does, too.
Winter is winter... but my apt. is toasty warm and at work I have a space heater. :-)
And overall life is good. Health issues, but nothing too serious, and being taken care of. Maybe even some writing and stuff in the future.
