So today the kids showed up. I had a relatively good day because I only have 3 sets of kids on Monday. :) Don't know how that works, but it turned out that way this year. It'll make up for Thursdays when I have no free time at all

Why can't you have corn syrup? I mean yes it is horribly bad for you, and it is ridiculously hard to buy anything that doesn't contain it these days, but is there any other specific reason?
I did research on the withdrawal symptoms and was happy (although that sounds mean...) to see that other people were experiencing the same things as me. I found lists of things people were doing that were helping with some of the symptoms. Lots of people said to avoid caffeine, but I'm already doing that to begin with. Some people recommended taking Benadryl, but I am desperately trying to do this without any additional medicine interaction. Other things that popped up on the good list were things with Omega 3's ... I can't do fish but I have eaten eggs. Also avoiding corn syrup helps lots of people.
It's amazing how much it has helped. Granted, every day is one day further in, so that could be part of it, but after drinking the soda at the O's game on Sunday the head zaps came back really strong. So maybe it's helping.
It's really really hard to not eat corn syrup. I mean, it's even on the peanuts we have in the cabinet! Geesh!

It's amazing how much it has helped. Granted, every day is one day further in, so that could be part of it, but after drinking the soda at the O's game on Sunday the head zaps came back really strong. So maybe it's helping.
