“Sir!” Penington’s voice cut off abruptly as he took in the scene in front of him. Peter broke the kiss, and Rose opened her eyes to see the gobsmacked expression of the DC over Peter’s shoulder. She shifted her eyes to Peter, who was looking at her intently, his body still pressing against hers, holding her upright.
since technically i'm supposed to be studying, i had to camp both hands over my mouth to stop myself from laughing.
in short: i am so glad they're back together again! Yay! :D

You're quite welcome. I was so, so relieved to finally write this chapter--fighting Peter/Rose is all well and good, but snogging Peter/Rose is far more fun to write.
