I get the feeling I'll love this, but the suspense might drive me mad. I have all sorts of theories, but I'll be patient and wait to see if any of them prove to be true.

Heh, radiator wars. I'm so with Elias on this one. I was always battling it out with my roomates who wanted to keep it at 75! eugh. Growing up in a house heat by wood stove makes one get used to the cold. Who needs bills when you can throw on a sweater?

on a tangent, I was thinking the other day that it might be great if Peter took Lucy to the British Museum and they happened upon Rose's Fortuna Statue. I know, I know, they never went to Rome in PW, it all seemed like a good idea at the time, continuity be darned! :)

Thursday will help to negate the suspense. Honest.

Who needs bills when you can throw on a sweater?

Given that I've turned the heat on about three times this winter, I'm hardly going to argue ;)

Hmmm. Trying to think *too* much about it hurts my brain, TBH. But it's possible that because the trip to Rome happened before PW split off, that statue may yet be there.

Hmmmmmmmm.

I know, that was totally my brain over the weekend, trying to make it work out! I was so intrigued though by what Peter's reaction would be that it was too tempting not to think about. He knows that she did these things, but I think seeing that would really make him stop. It's physical evidence of her travels and doings, of her life before him.

I definitely think that seeing a statue of Rose in the British Museum--and *knowing* that it was of his wife, done from life (or by someone who knows her really, really well ;))--would cause Peter to kind of hiccup. Like, the "Brrt?" that comes when two very different parts of your life crash together. It would definitely lead to some lovely talkiness between Peter and Rose ;)

Okay, I *get* cliffhangers, but mid-word? You are a sadistic woman, aren't you?

Funny, I was calling myself masochistic this weekend (in the sense of watching Band of Brothers, even though it makes me weepy. A lot).

But yeah, I'd buy the "sadistic" appellation today.
