He knew he was selfish enough to ignore that option in favour of having her sleep in his house; even if they weren’t sleeping together, the thought filled him with a quiet excitement.

Another w-heavy ‘aw’ here.

He’d love nothing more than to carry her upstairs, to see her asleep in his bed in his house…

Uh-huh.

It might sound romantic, but the reality would be miserable.

From having seen my share of English houses, I would surmise that the trend for gigantor furniture hasn’t ever made it across the pond.

She padded into the kitchen for her purse, and noted briefly that Peter had cleared the dinner plates before he’d gone wherever he had the night before. A quick check of her phone showed no missed calls or messages, and she sent a very short text to Mickey to let him know she was out, and safe.

And a quick look out the window to make sure no van is parked outside… :)

Peter slowly awoke, his body tangled in the duvet after a rather feverish dream about Rose Tyler. He stretched, yawning, enjoying the pleasant buzz the dream

Could be, I suppose, although his beard area does have the tint that indicates he was already getting healthy beard growth, versus stuck in the peach-fuzz era.
