This chapter's superb now. Wicked (in both senses of the word) and superb.

And it's so dark in my house I can't see the keys to type. Where is the sun?!?!

I am sooooo loving this! Waiting with baited breath every time I go online and check for more. I was not looking for it right now and was so surprised to see it here, thank you so much but I might be late for work now.... It was worth it.

No! Why would I want to kill you?! I just...ah...well...

OK, maybe I am ;)

There was much debate as this was written about *how* Rose would tell Peter. Would she tell him piecemeal? Would she tell him before she left town? For about five chapters, I'd send a fresh-from-the-hard-drive document off to EGT for beta with the comment "Rose is going to tell Peter next chapter! I swear!" and then, well, my Muse went in a different direction. I think she finally stopped believing me right about the time I sent this one to her. And, in the end, it wound up nothing like we'd discussed. Ah, the creative process!
