Pete knew that Rose would most likely prefer to go to the Doctor's route on this--because it seems easier. So far better to be up front and order her into talking to someone about it.

Thank you! I really do love Jackie--she's got flaws, but she's also a deeply caring person who clearly adores her daughter. So it's always nice to be able to write she and Rose just being mum and daughter.
