Ooh... very excited for them both despite the awkward moment between them over the party for Jackie. Peter was so sweet there at the end though. Very much looking forward to the final part.

Peter's a bit prickly, especially when he feels like he's been backed against a wall; but he's also a very sweet soul, who cares very, very deeply for those he loves. And who is one hell of a romantic bloke. :)

Ohhhh I love the bit where Rose went to Catie's grave. That was beautiful.

Thank you. It was inspired, to some degree, by a discussion earlier this month; I'd not planned to fold it in to this particular story, but it just kind of felt *right*, when I hit that point.

*sniff* when Rose was talking to Catie's grave, the tears were there, so beautiful, such a lovey thing to do.

Peter at the end was so touching so loving- can't wait for the next part x x

Rose, I think, really is terribly conflicted about Catie. I mean, of course she's sorry the poor woman died--who wouldn't be? But there's that knowledge, too, that if Catie hadn't died, Rose wouldn't have had her chance at happiness.

Oddly, I think Rose has more hang-ups associated with Catie, than does Peter at this point. Not in a bad way--and not in a way that will damage their relationship. And I do think she works through them, in large part simply by visiting and tending to Catie's grave.

Awww I admit, I welled up a bit when Rose went to Catie's grave. That was very poignant.

The leadup to the wedding was wonderful and I can't wait for Thursday!

Oh that's just gorgeous, and Rose's 'chat' with Catie is a lovely touch which brought tears to my eyes.

However, I am now distracted by the image of him 'au naturel' in his kilt ........ mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Mmmm, yes--the Professor, in his kilt...and properly, at that. Well...it's a nice wedding present for Rose, wouldn't you say?

*g*

The best kind of present! In fact I had that image in mind when I went to bed last night, and let me tell you it took me a deliciously long time to get to sleep ;)
