Why is it, that when I read this, already knowing the outcome, I am holding my breath to find out the contents of the letter!!!!!! I think I'm going insane!!*shakes head in despair*
I'm so happy that our wonderful duo have made it to this point, but equally sad that this means the end, only, hopefully of this particular tale.
Is it really selfish of me to hope that your muse/plot bunnies have been unleashed whilst on holidays and that we have some more adventures of Peter and Rose (or even ProfPeter and HieressRose) ?

Would it make you feel better if I told you that *I* was nervous, too? I had this niggling thought that perhaps the letter would be something else, which was silly as I knew it *had* to be THE letter, but the Muse can be a fickle thing.

There will be other tales from this 'verse, have no fear :) As well, I think I'll probably write at least one other ProfPeter/HeiressRose story--I saw too much of Scotland, and it tempted my muse in that direction!
Aw. I love your happy endings. Okay, I know there is still the epilogue to come, but still... It's all wrapped up in a pretty red bow. I'm going to miss this fic.
Crap!! I so thought there was more, like another line of "chapter XX" to get through and now I learn that Thursday is the last day!
When this first started, I tried to mentally calculate how long it would take and -- of course, my math is terrible -- I ended up with Christmas. LOL. Silly me, huh?
Perfection. There is no other word I could think of that could sum up just how amazing this story, this world, these characters are. The little nuisances that make them THEM, the way the storylines work and flow together... everything is amazing to me. I will miss it very very much. <3
It's such a good ending...but it's still an ending. I absolutely loved this story- Peter and Rose really don't seem like characters out of TV shows. They're so real.
It's not *quite* the ending--there's one last thing which needs to be addressed. And then there is a kind of outlier story tied into this, so...you have a wee little bit left!
Peter's apprehension over the letter was so real. I love that they took the letter to Shap. *squishes them*
As for the replies-no worries. I just appreciate all the updates and pictures you've been sharing! Safe journey home. I was beginning to think you decided to abandon us for good to simply wander the other side of the pond.
I could just imagine the rush of endorphins through him once he opened that letter and read it. And then the giddiness, and utter *lightness* of knowing he was free of the situation in Kendal.
I was beginning to think you decided to abandon us for good to simply wander the other side of the pond.
Oh, it was *so* tempting. SO TEMPTING. But, sadly, I had to come home so I could keep earning money, so I can plan my next trip across the pond.

LOL--I'd done the math, and calculated the end of September! So we were both off. ;)
